THE END OF 2025 WAS A WILD ONE FOR THE CITY OF PORTLAND. STRANGE AND THE FAMILIARS HAD A FEW WORDS TO SAY ABOUT IT, AND THATS WHERE THIS BADASS PROTEST SONG COMES IN.

INSPIRED BY THE “RIOTS” TAKING PLACE OUTSIDE OF THE ICE DETENTION FACILITY - STRANGE AND THE FAMILIARS POKES A FEW MUCH NEEDED HOLES IN A VERY UNTRUTHFUL NARRATIVE ABOUT THE CITY. THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND PROTEST SONG, WITH A ONE OF A KIND SOUND TO MATCH.

    - Recorded in early 2024, this project contained a combination of fully acoustic, live takes, and multi-tracking. Lance’s goal was to capture the essence of their stage sound. Loud, intimate, in your face, and true to their stage performance.

    A Spherical Banana is unique solo act. combining acoustic/electric guitar, theramin, synths, and samplers or drum machines.

    - Recorded in 2024, A Spherical Banana decided it was time to capture some long-time favorites from his songbook. We took a “whatever happens” sort of approach, doing one or two takes max. What we got, was a genuine sound that feels alive and unreal all at once.

    Seeking Sunrises sets out to capture 100% of their live sound with each recording. Recorded in January of 2024, we were under equipped and working with the bare essentials. Thankfully, this raw approach, it complimented their sound well.
